FELLOW ACTIVISTS/PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT RELEVANT ISSUES
Hey, I am looking to find a book for my younger sister, who is 17 years old, that is a good intro into understanding the world of racism/sexism/gender identity etc. Basically, the works. Like, activism 101 or something. Anybody have suggestions on easy to understand non-fiction for young adults? She is very intelligent, but hasn’t really been introduced to the vocabulary before. Potentially this all cannot be found in one book…I know Seal Studies has a book for young women, but I want to see what’s out there.
